Propertyserve appoints new regional contracts manager

-Richard Parkin joins the management team, as company continues its rapid expansion-

 

Facilities management procurement and helpdesk specialist, Propertyserve UK, has appointed Richard Parkin into the newly created position of regional contracts manager for the north.

In the role, Parkin will be responsible for all operational work in the north of England and Scotland. He will look after the delivery and management of procured FM solutions to Propertyserve’s varied portfolio of clients, and will also manage all contractor relationships.

Richard ParkinParkin comes with 10+ years’ experience in the FM industry – covering PFI, construction and general maintenance. Prior to joining Propertyserve, he worked for SPIE Facilities Services as a key account manager. In this role, he was responsible for five contracts – covering areas including project management, statutory compliance and planned maintenance. He has also held positions with HOCHTIEF Facility Management.

Chris MacDonald, managing director at Propertyserve, said: “We’d like to welcome Richard to the team; he is already making a real impact both internally and with clients.

“Propertyserve continues to expand rapidly, yet we remain focused on our service levels. As our presence has increased nationally, the timings were right to bring in a regional manager to look after the clients and contractors based in the north of the UK.”
